IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • The BCCLS system will begin accepting on-line Hold Requests for East Rutherford patrons on East Rutherford-owned items as of June 15th.
  • Telephone requests will be accepted beginning one half hour prior to opening each day.
  • We're making all Hi-Demand DVDs/Blu-Rays available for Hold Requests and extending their loan periods to accommodate curbside borrowing.
  • You will be limited to no more than 10 items per family per visit.
  • The ER Police Department will arrange for reserved parking spots near the Main Street entrance for drop-off/pick-up convenience during the hours of operation.
  • Until authorization is given and proper safety protocols are in place, we cannot provide any in-house services for our patrons.  We are unable to register new patrons (but you can still apply for and use your Virtual Library Cards online!) or provide copy, fax, or notary service.

These procedures are as new for us as they are for you!  We're working hard to ensure quality services while keeping the health and safety of patrons and staff as the top priority.  All our online content and programming will remain available and will be expanded as we kick-off a vibrant virtual Summer Reading program.

As always, we welcome your comments, suggestions, and appreciate your patience as work towards returning to full operation.
