Listservs
A Listserv is an electronic mailing list software application that allows a sender to send one email to the list, and then transparently send it on to the addresses of the subscribers to the list. The East Rutherford Memorial Library has listservs for children's, teen, and adult events. To subscribe, send an email to one or more of the following:
Children's Events: [email protected]
Teen Events: [email protected]
Adult Events: [email protected]
To subscribe, send an email to [example]@listserv.bccls.org. Leave the subject line blank and type "subscribe listname" in the body of your e-mail message.
example: EAST_RUTHERFORD_CHILDRENS
You will receive a message from "BCCLS LISTSERV Server" with the Subject "Command confirmation request." Click on the link in that message to confirm that you want to be subscribed to the list.

How to unsubscribe from an @listserv.bccls.org mailing list:
Send an email to [example]@listserv.bccls.org from the email account that you wish to unsubscribe. Leave the subject line blank and type: signoff [the name of the list]
