East Rutherford Memorial Library has partnered with Operation Gratitude to send leftover/extra Halloween candy to the troops.

We'd love to include a card or note from our wonderful patrons in those care packages.  You can drop off those with or without the candy!

If you'd like to donate and say thank you to those who serve, please drop off candy between November 1st  &  November 6th.

Individually packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss are also great donation items!

Operation Gratitude sends 200,000+ care packages filled with food, entertainment, hygiene, and handmade items, plus cards to Veterans, first responders, new recruits, wounded heroes, their care givers and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas and their families waiting at home.
For more information on Operation Gratitude, click here.
