6/5/2013

Director Kenneth French and Children's Librarian Anna Coats attended the New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) Conference, which was held in Atlantic City.

Ken attended programs on eBooks and New Jersey libraries, services for Spanish speakers, building video game collections, and planning for the Library's expansion.

Anna co-chaired the panel discussion "Conversation Starter: How to Handle Difficult Behavior in the Children's Area" and held the poster session REFORMA: The National Association to Promote Library & Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking. Anna also got a copy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel autographed by Jeff Kinney. Teens: stay tuned for details on how to win this book this summer.
